Youth Health Organization organized a small-scale conference on the topic of VET learners’ mental health and wellbeing in cooperation with Biotechnical Educational Centre Ljubljana. To more than 30 VET teachers, VET and youth workers, counselors and social workers we presented the Staywell project, its aims and outputs and dove deeper into the exploration of the Staywell platform and WebQuest learning approach and then together with experts from the field (social workers, school counselors, psychiatrists, dormitory teachers …) and VET learners themselves discussed the usefulness of the platform and current situation in the field of youth mental health, statistics, threats, troubles when working in the field and possible solutions. The event was very well received and there were multiple initiatives to organized similar events and present other tools for VET and youth workers such as the Staywell platform.
