Idea and aims
The study visit in Georgia is intended as an activity focused on sharing best practices, experiencing new environments and cultures, as well as getting to know the inner workings of national-level stakeholders.
Through the study visit, we wish to empower participants to take part in an intercultural dialogue on health and human rights and to create a cooperation plan for youth at the European level that will be based on the experience.

What is the visit about?
The activity is supported by the European Youth Foundation as a part of YHO’s yearly set of activities under the key topic of “Good health: the right of all young people”.YHO works towards health and wellbeing of young people, through promotion of healthy lifestyles and prevention of non-communicable diseases, including mental health and environmental health. It develops and supports evidence-based and effective policies to assure health-promoting environments for young people.

Travel and Accomodation Costs
Accommodation and meals will be provided directly by YHO at the venue in Ibis Styles Tbilisi Center. Participants will be staying in double rooms based on gender indicated in the application. Each participant or partner organization is responsible for buying the tickets. Upon providing all the necessary proofs (tickets, invoices, boarding passes, etc.), YHO will reimburse the cost of traveling up to 365 EUR per person.

Selection process and confirmation of attendance
The spots for the event are limited and participants will be accepted, based on a rolling “first come-first serve” basis and quality of application.
Selected participants will receive the confirmation by email with a Welcome Pack and other crucial information in a few working days after the application has been submitted. Your place at the advocacy school will be guaranteed after the booked tickets confirmation.
