On the 5th of April we took part in the session of the The European Economic and Social Committee (EESC) regarding Cooperation On Youth. Input made by our Manager Anja Fortuna contributed to the exploratory opinion that the EESC is working on at the request of the Spanish Presidency. This opinion aims to identify the principal challenges, problems and difficulties that impede youth from developing a full and inclusive life with equal opportunities and free of all forms of violence, in view of contributing to the Spanish presidency project of giving an impulse to a European Youth Agenda. This opinion will discuss as well the situation of young parents in the EU, looking at the needs of young families and the issues faced by young people starting up or wanting to start up a family.
