Brussels, Belgium, 11 – 15 December 2023
YAS 2023 by CTFK and ENSP took place from 11 – 15 December in Brussels, Belgium. 23 young people from 13 countries gathered to participate in a week full of workshops. We discussed tobacco control and prevention issues we face in our countries, we learned the art of storytelling and policy mapping, and we had an interesting session on how to use social media as a tool for advancing tobacco control efforts. We improved the core skills in strategic communications for advocacy and spoke with Policy Champions on the topic of tobacco control. The outcome of the Summit was a network of enthusiastic young advocates from across the European region who will work together to create a smoke-free generation.
